What do you call a Southern Belle with a West Coast flavor? Born in Sacramento, California and raised in Dallas, TX, Jazzi Black is truly a one-of-a-kind lady. As an avid book collector, lover of museums, and cactus mom, Jazzi hopes to use her platform to inspire communities to “Connect & Create.” Whether it be relationships, ideas, or positive energy, she aims to use this motto to help cycle understanding and unconditional love throughout the world.

After graduating from Duncanville High School she attended Prairie View A&M University to get her B.A. in Mass Communications. Following her studies she pursued her Masters at Texas Southern University in Professional Communication and Digital Media Arts.

Struggling after graduation like most college students to find a job, Jazzi begin substitute teaching to make extra money. On the last day of school she got a phone call from Radio One that she had been offered a job as the Sr. Digital Content Producer. In a matter of five months, she was Blessed with the opportunity to share her loving spirit and bubbly personality by becoming an on-air host with Veda Loca in the Morning. Within seven months, the team had landed a spot on The CW covering news, sports, entertainment, and more!

Balancing her digital production company and newly found fame, she plans to push her brand forward by creating an app for entrepreneurs, starting a non-profit organization for young girls, and opening her own creative studio.
